The Boston Wine Expo is right around the corner! As always, it takes place over President’s Day Weekend in Boston, and it’s a fun option for spending time indoors during our usually wretched winters. This year’s Boston Wine Expo celebrates 25 years of great wine tasting in Boston

Boston Wine Expo preview

I have given a pair of tickets to the Sunday wine expo Grand Tasting to give away to a lucky blog reader. Are you ready for a global wine adventure right here in Boston? Do you love wine tasting as much as I do?

Entering is easy. Check out the exhibitor listing pages and let me know what exhibitor and varietal you are most looking forward to tasting (Decoy Sonoma County Pinot Noir, for example).

For an extra entry, tweet: “I want to win @bostonwineexpo tickets from @traveleatlovemm” with a link back to this post.

I will choose a winner next Monday morning, giving you a full week to enter to win!

Boston Wine Expo

I recently attended a Boston Wine Expo preview tasting and once again encountered some favorite wines, such as these beautiful wines from Chateau D’Esclans. Whispering Angel is one of my favorite wines, and this time around I got to sample some of Sacha Lichine’s higher end wines like the gorgeous Garrus and Les Clans. These and many other wines will be open for sampling at the Boston Wine Expo this February.

In addition to lots of wine tasting, you’ll also see some of your favorite chefs at the Wine Expo, like  Ming Tsai, Jody Adams, Barbara Lynch, Daniel Bruce and many more:

pick your favorites and let your readers know to expect them at the expo!

One of my favorite parts about the Boston Wine Expo are the seminars. I attended a seminar on Greek wines a few years back, and it was very interesting. This year there are even more wine seminars, and more being added.

Check out the "one Hour Wine Expert" with Kevin Zraly, Elizabeth Butler of Viña Mayu and Jake Pippin of Vine Connections explore the Terroir of Chile, and Dave Willis, head of distilling at Boston’s Bully Boy Distillers will talk about craft distilling and sample Bully Boy’s award-winning spirits.

You can get your Grand Tasting tickets now; just use the code HOLIDAY13 for a $10 off the Saturday or Sunday Grand Tasting. You can buy your Boston Wine Expo tickets here

Cheers and Happy Holidays!
