Culinary Institute of America Greystone

Want to read about our last lunch in wine country? Check out my guest post on the Culinary Institute of America in Napa Valley on  Maiden Voyage Travel! Many thanks to Emily Starbuck Gerson for allowing me to guest post! http://maiden-voyage-travel.com/guest-post-destination-food-cia-greystone-in-napa-valley/ After going to the CIA, I had the urge to go to culinary school, but realized I don’t want to be a chef! 🙂 Do you ever get big ideas like that when visiting places or reading things, or am I the only one?

Um, pretty much anywhere I vacation, I want to move there immediately following the trip. Or when someone quits their job to do something else, I’m like yeah! I could do that! Last week I wanted to open up a bed & breakfast. Sometimes I think I’m insane and sometimes I think I’m just interested in life 😉

I totally get “big ideas” all the time – places I want to travel, courses I want to take etc. 🙂

Oh, I hear you! I would never want to work in the restaurant business, but taking cooking classes is fun. Small ways to reinvent yourself, without a whole life makeover!

That was a great post Meghan! I took culinary classes and it actually made me want to learn more but not sure about those restaurant hours… I hope I can get to Greystone next summer.
