I enjoyed your post about New England Wineries. It can be a great way to spend an afternoon sampling local wines.
As far as a favorite chef goes, I enjoy Bobby Flay a lot. He seems to be able to cook a wide variety of things that can indeed be made at home and is not bad with a grill either.

We recently visited Cooperstown NY and had the opportunity to visit The Cooperstown Brewing Company along with a local winery up there as well. It was a great way to spend a rainy afternoon.
