Boston’s travel and tourism scene is really booming these days. Business and leisure travelers alike are visiting the city, and who can blame them? We’ve got history, architecture, beautiful green space, a bustling waterfront, and a culinary scene that gets better every single day. Last week I had the opportunity to check out a new hotel property in the South End, Chandler Studios. Life has been more on-the-go than usual lately, so I only had a few minutes to pop in and take a tour. Having walked by Chandler Studios many times, I was very curious to see what was inside, and I was definitely not disappointed. Chandler Studios offers apartment-like accommodations. Check in is either virtual or at sister property Chandler Inn so guests really can feel like residents if they choose, or they can pop across the street if they need assistance from a staff member. It’s the best of both worlds. If it’s privacy and chic city rooms you’re looking for, Chandler Studios is definitely it. They offer 11 efficiency studios and a one bedroom suite, which is kind of bigger than our condo. I offered to live there, but unfortunately I don’t think that’s going to happen. Color scheme and décor at Chandler Studios are clean and inviting, and the rooms were all very quiet, despite being in the busy South End. Art on the walls is old Boston, images of what things looked like pre-Big Dig, and while that industrial, above-ground road may not have a great look for the city, it translates fabulously into art.

In addition to lovely rooms, Chandler Studios also offers parking and a nice little workout studio. Chandler Studios is ideal for the independent traveler who likes space, comfort, and style. They offer special rates for weekly and monthly specials as well as corporate and group rates, rates for weddings and for special events.
