Help Taza, Win Chocolate

Like many of you, I love to support local, fair trade business as much as possible. You may have heard that one of our great local business, Taza Chocolate, had their factory flooded in last weekend’s torrential downpours, I knew I wanted to help, and I am pretty sure you all do too.

The best way to help Taza right now is to buy chocolate. Their products are sold online as well as in stores and some farmer’s markets, and they are awesome.

To help out in my own small way, I am giving away $20 in Taza Dollars to one lucky reader. This will be a short giveaway that will end Monday night, and if you are a blogger and would like to join me in a similar giveaway, I would love to get a movement started!

Follow the usual steps to enter:

1) Check out Taza’s website and leave a comment here on what you would buy with $20 Taza Dollars.

2) Link back on your blog, Facebook, or Twitter.

3) Tell a friend! This is not your ordinary giveaway. It’s to help rebuild something in our community that not only provides us with great chocolate but that affects communities around the world with their sourcing.

And don’t forget my Harvard Sweet Boutique Giveaway ends on Tuesday!

I didn’t know about their flood but I actually purchased some dutch processed cocoa from them this past Tuesday. They really are a great company – I like that it combines my desire for organic/fair trade foods and supporting local businesses. I’m definitely a fan.
If I won the gift certificate, I’d buy the Taza chocolate tasting set (it’s more money, but I’d love to support the company even more). Thanks for making me aware of this!!
