It is hard to believe I have filled over a week of blog posts with a 5 day trip! I think photos are a lot of fun, so for my final SFO post, I bring you a variety of different photos that capture our trip.
Hotel Palomar, Market and 4th. I love Kimpton Hotels because they are fun and boutiquey and have some fun perks like free morning coffee and tea and a hosted wine hour every day. The service at this hotel rocked, and we will return!

The Rock – Alcatraz from San Francisco
The sidewalk in front of 710 Ashbury
Blue Fog Market- If we lived in SFO I would go here often
Michael Chiarello’s Napa shop
Beautiful wines at Cakebread
Fun quotes in the ladies room at Mumm Napa
San Francisco is for (hill) runners!
San Francisco from Alcatraz – not a bad view
Dungeness crab at the Crab House, Fisherman’s Wharf
Dungeness crab cocktail
Irish coffee at The Buena Vista
San Francisco was a great holiday and a perfect way to end the summer. I am ready and looking forward to fall now. I have a few exciting things coming up including the Newport Food and Wine Festival and and my food writing course. I am also hoping to make a few trips to Nashoba Winery to pick apples and eat lunch on their terrace before it gets too cold. We also like to take the older nieces to a farm in Tyngsboro for apple picking, cider donuts, and the animal farm they have there. I love everything fall has to offer, and I can’t wait to share it with all of you!
